Peers across hemispheres and I are far more interested in ensuring that each of these intercity movements vetoes any uses of 20th c failing system methods that the majority of club coordinators -or where elected an honorary board - vote against, than prescribing revenue models.

OPEN SOURCING THE CLUBS
Obviously we should want coordinators to make a living out of work input whlst at the same time recognising that being a club coordinator is probably worth more than having many a professional qualification - or needs to become so if this world is to be sustainable. Equally where profits are repeatedly generated I assume we can find a way iof agreeing some sliding scale that should be contributed either to your favourite grassroots organsiation in bangladesh or to a small list of other potential grassroots partners of future capitalism which should probably need at least 75 of members refendum to confirm

I am very happy if people will negotiate what other rules they would need to want to participate as well as to clarify where they want diferent contant at the mother webs. The main web system I use costs $35 a year per web so its not difficult to imagine that major cties will also want to set up their own branch web or of course a free blog - either of which we will happily linmk from the top of the mother web.

Obviously some of our constitution needs double checking with for example the 100000 bangladeshi's and other Gandhians who are the main practical exemplar of the values we seek to network worldwide so that the future sustains 7 billion brilliant jobs and goodwill multiplying across all women, children and even men.

We wish to learn from each city's most successful ways of mobilising and cross-cultural celebration, as well as metods for ensuring that any action network actually reaches to those in most desperate need of its service. This is one of the big lessons of bangladeshi experience -reiterated by every micro-system designer in bangladesh we have interviewed - once a networks starts empowering the entrepreneur inside it will never get deeper than the deepest needsholders it begins with. This is a lesson that many global NGOs seem never to have begun to grade.

Practices for communal good.
Some of us first started collecting data on this nearly 30 years ago when we made a naiive assumption that purpose of brand flows is to transparently sustain communal good. Moreover where they measurably abuse the trust of either a producing coordinate or a demanding one they burst all their goodwill as well as right/value to systemise monetary exchanges. We don't expect every macroeconomist to agree but when people from a 9 year old New Yorker to George Soros can sense that many big banks have abused public trust with the subprime fiasco, then its time for citizens to debate what sort of purpsoe do we want banks around us to communally impact.

From these roots, our open collabrations encourage 3 communal practices C.A.M
C=cafes where you meet people for real who have been invited to review one common crisis issue, decide whom you trust to network with and what worldwide or locally deep invitations need to be communicated next
A= Action projects - we usually advise triangular groups of 3 to start these up but to share news that they are doing so and what happens with the wider cafe networking alumni
M=Maps- a map is a group who are concerned by the same change world issue, and primarily agree about the direction of change needed. Most sustainability crises on our planet today start with not enough micro/community-up support- so maps of collaboration cafe tend to all belong to a people empowerment altas unless specifically clarified otherwse from the outset. Core characteristics of a map involve searching out and agreeing open source solutions that can be replicated interlocally; and greeting newcomers to the map to ensure they are both micro-focused and collaboratively bringing something those who have worked longest on the map will appreciate.

this methodology of "do now " projects- how they weave together real brands locally to globally is something I researched and authored in the early 1990s; I a quite happy to give out copies of the book the next time we meet; I am quite happy to donate day's test-it tutoring groups if a few people really want to try it out on projects they are about to mobilise;

my fieldbook argued from 15 years of earlier research of what societies need collected personally in 30 countries that if the big media professions go on the way they did in separated national markets, the worldwide would not have a good outcome- oddly the world's largest communications agency asked me to host a web debating this around 2000 while there was still dotcom optimism around but then when some of the free advice I gave them on one of the client brands modeled how it was so full of conflicts that it would go bust unless they urgently mediated change I got sent packing- and Andersen got its last 30 million dollar logo campaign before going bust

so anyway "do now" project’s matter to me as possibly the only MICRO-organizational tool you wholly need to agree on if you are going to brand trust and not just perceptions, if you are going to interact you own entrepreneurship's flows with each other especially innovative ones which by definition mean aligning against some higher up power when the time comes not to blink- which at any one time can be summarized on one-page in terms of why we started this ; are we on our goals and on time and on budget; are we still serving those who uniquely wanted this; is our piece of the jigsaw more or less relevant now other projects are blooming too? which cherish the next big question even more than the planned answer

This is an emerging workspace for those concerned with Brand Action Teams. For example, with Dr Yunus' Grameen brand I am currently a volunteer checking out who is forming what Brand Action teams. We are mapping what I regard to be the collaboration brand network architecture with most chance of transforming human sustainability. 24 years ago by dad forecast we'd need a Nobel Laureate inspiring a worldwide search connceting upo at least 30000 community rising projects if the globalisation we designed was not to go the crashing way of Orwell's Big Brother. Since Brands have the budget to make all of an organsiations promises we assume the projects that innovate where they are going next will be extremely entrepreneurially tense

This kind of team is best fit by starting up with 3 people's leadershio inputs - the biggest believer in the doability of the mission, the social coordinator of the misison's deepest human relationship needs and flws, the resource checkmaker. Sometimes these skilss will overlap but its ama=zing how the oustide world will demand difefrent people speak to confirm these roles are prgressing in unison

It is a pity that Bono, Richard Curtis and all his red nose affiliates, and both the Simons could come so near and yet so far to beaming up grassroots Africa to the epicentre of American youth and future understanding for Africa.

The impact of cafes (one hour open meetings but on particular crisis invitations - ie truncated open spaces) where invitations are past through all changemakers networks has never been higher. Especially in London as a model for the future of all open cross-cultural cities and villages as social sub-networks - a reconciliation of enduring urgency forced on us by 7/7 and the recognition that government over many years has failed to wholly integrate cultures at the grassroots in ways that people and local communities must take charge of.

This is such a huge subject that I neither have time nor space in this weblog medium to do justice to all the questions that live cafes have raised and how all the major crises of lost sustainability and distrust between different local and global groups of peoples are being made ever more conflicted by national government- whose monopoly rule over public service budgets in the most vital areas like safety, media, health, education, peace is disastrous when most of the challenges facing us are as world citizens (interlocal waves that are made worse wherever a Blair of Bush make decisions like a Canute) or wherever 2 party politics one-dimensionalises issues that need 360 degree diversity of transparent public dialogue

here's more on where open space can go to; originally the methoid focused on the world's biggest conflict issues, one space at a time; for that it needs the epople who come to give up 3 days uninterrupted time in celebrating listening poiwer of and with each other

I believe (know from very rehersal so far ) that a 10 year old can be intoruduced to a 1-day open space and from that moment on lunch hours, after-school activities need never be the same again

I am convinced -from one hour collaboration cafe formats we have trialled - this is a huge opportunity but only if we move up a level from open space and across to other structures

You (the 1500+ alumni of open space at OSlieste-serve) know more than me but 3 sub-system interfaces that fascinate me about open space are :
the invitation phase- will the people who come be the most passionate people about one specific context resolution?

the open space itself, which doesnt rush to answers nor to individual ownership since the innovation values are in the interaction web of flows

the interface after the open phase back to projects in the ordinary world's environments
hold those 3 interfaces and think of people in an organsiational structure:

they have 2 more ways to space and network; that inside the organsiation , and that they care about as bumping into social or communal needs outside

now suppose any person who wishes to is empowered by an organisation to nominate an issue they care passionately about exploring that is in some way related to work but potentially very laterally; will thye whole of the organisation network that person's inviation to a lunch circle in a way that the 10 people who mst passionately want to explore that issue turn uo at the same circle

where I have used the word organisation, it could be any association or network you belong to (most exciting of all are yout hubs becasue these chnage schooling forever and essentially multiply a network of montesorri type learning and co-mentoring circles until a teacher is liberated from examination books)

but the organisational structure is: do leaders or whomever's budget of resources and rulemaking open up the cultural roghts of the structure so that everyone is encouarged to buy into zeroising degrees of separation ar0und lunchtime invitation circles; there are for example half-way check points; the leader's pa could review topics before giving them the zero degree of separation approval to be an invitation post that goes to everyone

For 22 years I have been mailing out one page scripts on ways peoples, families, communities, companies can become more productive as well as happier if we use the internet collaborative connections in hi-trust ways. This began with the first death-of-distance future history 1 2 book -one which I co-authored on the internet as the greatest revolution ever to hit one single generation of humanity around the world. My father, The Economist's most prolific editorial writer blended the economic revolutions, I focused on the cultural, socieatal or learning revolutions, a friend dealt with the future of science using his lenses as graduate in microbiology and one of the world's most avid reader and author of science fiction.

We talk of the word revolution advisedly: ie being equally capable of ending the sustainability of our species or enabling the 21st Century to be the best for all 6 billions to live in (but most unlikely to spin on some in-between exponentials) Much of my father's work has been concerened to train entrepreneurs to keep economics alive for all people by demanding that leaders openly demand revolutions at a time when innovation opportunities are open -if we don't do this so many conflicts start putting top people at risk of drowing in analysis paralysis . At least that is 2 generations of macrae's experience as mathematicians, economists or boigraphers of mathematicians. More on the risks economics gets engulfed in when big powers surround it is debated at our blog ecosaintjames- one of London's 5 global villages whose collaboration cafes have helped make London a leading collaboration knowledge city, an honor which of course we only sustain by helping any other city's people -eg 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 to do likewise to their heart's content.

The most basic assumptions of how the interenet will turn out good for humanity involve collaboration as the table below will start to list. Starting with use email to find your own best mentors through life and help others do likewise. To multiply the potentials of virtial life by real life, cafe is as good a word as any for actively learning in real time and place with a group of people. If you can imagine the most productive/inventive/insanely competence-building 60 minutes of your life spent with a team of people, what would need to be prepared so you all cane together, and how would the meeting dynamics work for those 60 minutes, and connect your networks forever after or at least until you had all multiplied each other's productivities to each other's herats contents? If that turns out to be a big question for you, why not co-edit this blog. If its not a big question, I am interested to hear what is the biggest question of how to network so that all the people you connect with make the most productive opportunities out of virtual times real life times.

What is WMB: WMB1 charity dollar's get one-time spending never investing; WMB2 global charity controls from above never transfers knowhow; WMB3 charity ticks performance in boxes not flows that community impact accountancy needs to develop around; WMB4 charity has seldom destabilised a corrupt regime relying on expediency of working within a broken system than stepping back and seeing how whole change is needed if ever more vicious spirals onto the poorest people are not to be compounded by inconvenient truth; WMB5 Charity as it has evolved in globalisation's last 30 years has had terrifying influence on mass media- with commercial media it has paid exorbitant sums to ad messages that should have been free speech if they truly were life-saving, with public media it has censored debates that could have identified Charity's systemic follies and burdens -its accidental vicious systemisation and cumulative impacts have put "democratic" governments on the defensive where we needed openness and diverse curiosity of leadesrhip, and made the interface between global charity and national governments one of the root causes of loss of sustainability of our species
